I expect every studio with a physical release between now and the end of the year is going to get the same question, and the ones that don't answer quickly are going to get assumed guilty. Codes in boxes aren't new on Switch, where cartridge costs make it a practical decision, but GTA 6 normalising it on PS5 and Xbox is a different proposition entirely for a game priced at $80 standard.
