Microsoft has revealed the latest addition to its Xbox accessory lineup with the release of the Arctic Camo Special Edition Xbox Series X/S wireless controller. This new controller is an updated version of the Arctic Camo Special Edition Xbox One controller, which made its initial debut in the US last May at a price of $69.99.

The Arctic Camo Special Edition controller is now available worldwide, outside of the US, at a retail price of £64.99 / €69.99. According to Microsoft, the controller features a patchwork design of rugged white and grey, creating a visually striking appearance.

In a statement, Microsoft described the controller saying, "Arctic Camo features a patchwork of rugged white and grey that all tie together into one striking visual. This monochromatic multitool, from the thumbsticks to the hybrid D-Pad and all the way to the triggers, is the perfect purchase for gamers who crave a controller that exudes both style and sophistication."

Additionally, an Arctic Camo Xbox Series X Console Wrap is also available for purchase in the US and Canada, priced at $44.99 / $59.99 respectively.

Leaker, billbil-kun, also suggest that Microsoft is preparing to release a third controller in its 'Vapor' series next month. Following the Stormcloud Vapor and Dream Vapor controllers, the upcoming Nocturnal Vapor controller is rumored to be released on April 9.

The Vapor series of Xbox Design Lab custom controllers, including Nocturnal Vapor, was launched by Microsoft in January. Nocturnal Vapor features a dark green and grey color scheme.

Excitingly, the next evolution of Xbox controllers may include features such as improved haptic feedback, an accelerometer, and a rechargeable and replaceable battery.

While Microsoft's plans for the future may have changed, leaked information from court documents suggests that an all-digital Xbox Series X system codenamed 'Brooklin' could come with an all-new, more immersive controller as part of a mid-generation console refresh.
