With the closed beta now live, PS5 players are flocking to the seas in droves, causing longer waiting times than usual due to the influx of new players. Rare took to social media to acknowledge the issue, thanking players for their patience during this exciting time.

The closed beta is scheduled to run until April 15, giving players a taste of what’s to come on the PlayStation 5 version of Sea of Thieves. For participating in the closed beta, players will be rewarded with the exclusive Dauntless Adventurer Sails and Title, adding a touch of flair to your pirate persona in the PS5 version of Sea of Thieves.
