Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Hotfix 13.1 Notes (28th May 2026)

Hotfix 13.1 rolls back the Gunstrike damage changes from 13.0 and brings a batch of Siege Mode additions alongside a long list of perk and crash fixes.

If the Gunstrike nerfs in patch 13.0 left your PvE runs feeling sluggish, Hotfix 13.1 is the correction you were waiting for. Saber Interactive has restored Gunstrike damage to its pre-13.0 values across firearms, with Plasma Pistol variants getting a separate adjustment so the damage-focused version actually hits harder on Gunstrikes than its counterparts. A clean rollback paired with a sensible tuning pass, that's how you handle a misstep.

Siege Mode gets the most meaningful additions here. Atonement unlock thresholds have been pulled forward, so players on Normal will start seeing them from wave 11 and Hard from wave 6, making the mode feel less front-loaded with nothing to show for it. Three new Atonements arrive alongside a new Blessing, Surplus, which doubles your Equipment carry capacity and spawn rates. The Absolute difficulty Ordeal requirements have also been cut significantly, dropping the top tier from 100 completions to 50.

On the fix side, a perk cooldown reset bug triggered by loadout switching has been squashed, Pyreblaster Canister issues are addressed, and console players running French or Spanish voice-over were hitting crashes that are now resolved. Here's everything that changed.
