Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Hotfix 12.3 Patch (8th April 2026)
Hotfix 12.3 is live for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, targeting a specific AI director bug that was letting Extremis enemies crash the Terminus encounter.
Hotfix 12.3 is live today for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, and while it's a small patch, the main fix is one that Terminus players will notice immediately.
The AI director had a bug allowing stray Extremis spawns and reinforcement calls to trigger during Terminus battles. If you've been getting blindsided by enemies that had no business showing up mid-boss fight, that's what was happening. Getting swarmed by off-script Extremis units during one of the game's toughest encounters is exactly the kind of thing that turns a fair challenge into a frustrating mess, so credit where it's due for Saber Interactive moving quickly on it. The update also includes a round of crash fixes, though the notes don't specify what was causing them.
It's a focused hotfix, not a balance pass. Full patch notes below.
