Gaijin Entertainment has released update 2.57.1.7 for War Thunder, tackling a spread of vehicle and environmental bugs that have been nagging players across ground, air, and naval modes.

The patch fixes a handful of mechanical issues that were affecting gameplay directly. The M1A2 and M1A2 SEPv3 had their TUSK modification mesh positioning corrected, while the Leopard 1A5BE's torn barrel texture has been restored. On the aircraft side, the Tu-2's variometer now operates properly, and the F-106A's altimeter has been brought back in line. The F-111A gains automatic door handling during AAM launches and bomb drops, bringing it in line with how similar aircraft behave.

Map collisions have also received attention across Alaska, Sweden, Hürtgen Forest, Ash River, and Maginot Line (Winter), where players were getting caught on trees and rocks. For naval players, a new Crew section in the ship hangar's X-ray filter now lets you view reserve crew compartments without digging into the Protection Analysis tab. The full rundown of fixes, including texture corrections on the Hummel and Yak-130 smoke positioning, is below.

Patch notes reflect only key changes, meaning they may not include a complete list of all improvements made. Additionally, War Thunder is constantly being updated and some changes may not require an update. Changes reflected in patch notes are formed by taking reactions and requests of the community from the bug reporting service, forums and other official platforms into account. Bug fixes and changes are implemented in order of importance, for example a game-breaking bug will be worked on and implemented sooner.
