The First Descendant Hotfix 1.3.24b Patch Notes (9th April 2026)
Nexon has pushed Hotfix 1.3.24b for The First Descendant, tightening up boundary values across weapons, reactors, and modules, and fixing a display bug that was hiding equipment options for some players.
Hotfix 1.3.24b went live today across Steam, Xbox, and PS5, following close on the heels of last week's Patch 1.3.24. This one is small in scope but carries a meaningful warning: the boundary value refinements for Weapon Readjustment, Augmentation Core Equipment, Ancestors Module Readjustment, and Trigger Modules could shift how your existing Junk Filter behaves.
That last point is worth paying attention to. If you have Junk Filter rules set up, there's a real chance the adjusted boundary values now push previously safe equipment into dismantling range. Nexon is explicitly asking players to check their equipment tiers and revisit Attached Item and Junk Filter settings after reconnecting. Losing a well-rolled weapon to an auto-dismantle because you skipped that step would be a rough afternoon.
The patch also fixes a bug where equipment options on Weapons, Reactors, and External Components weren't displaying for certain Descendants. Nexon notes that compensation tied to the broader readjustment review is covered in a separate notice. Check your Junk Filter before you do anything else today.
Full patch notes below.

- The boundary values of option range for ‘Weapon Readjustment’, ‘Augmentation Core Equipment’, ‘Ancestors Module Readjustment’, and ‘Trigger Modules’ will be refined for improved accuracy.
ㄴ Due to these boundary value adjustments, existing Junk Filter settings may affect the dismantling of previously used equipment (Weapons, Reactors, External Components).
ㄴ We kindly ask you to check your equipment tiers after the patch and adjust your Attached Item settings or Junk Filter.
ㄴ For detailed results and elements of the comprehensive readjustment review, as well as apology-related compensation, please refer to the separate notice. [[View Details]](https://tfd.nexon.com/en/news/3420048)
