Team Fortress 2 Update Released Patch Notes (7th July 2026)
Valve's Summer 2026 event for Team Fortress 2 is now live, delivering six new community-created maps alongside fresh cosmetics, taunts, and Unusual effects.

Valve's Summer 2026 event for Team Fortress 2 is live, and it's a solid seasonal refresh. Six new community maps have arrived. Dryfield, Camp Saxton, Shorelight, Redwood, Premuda, and Mojave. Giving players fresh ground to fight over through September 15th.
On the cosmetics side, the Summer 2026 Cosmetic Case contains 24 community-contributed items and carries a bonus chance to drop a taunt Unusualifier. Four new taunts join the Mann Co. Store: The Circuit Breaker, Buffoon's Bivouac, Faux-calization, and Friendly Fire. Twelve new Unusual effects are in the mix as well. Seven for hats and five for taunts. During the event window, all cosmetic and taunt cases will roll Summer 2026 Unusual effects instead of their standard ones, which gives players a genuine reason to open crates now rather than wait.
Beyond the seasonal content, this patch addresses a backlog of community-reported fixes: bad alpha channels on several cosmetics, the Stat Clock's display issues, Spy invisibility breaking intel carrier glow, and collision problems on cp_powerhouse and cp_fortezza. The full list, including every cosmetic fix and map adjustment, is below.
