S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Content Update Sealed Truth, a (14th April 2026)
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2's Sealed Truth update drops a new questline today alongside some fixes that long-campaign players will appreciate.
A new questline is the headline here. Sealed Truth, which dropped today for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, kicks off when you speak to a character named Diode and sends you into locations built around horrific experiments. GSC Game World is keeping the rewards deliberately vague for now, which I respect, let players find out for themselves.
Beyond the new content, there are two fixes that matter. Mutant overpopulation in long campaigns has been corrected, which is a real quality-of-life improvement for anyone deep into a save; the Zone turning into a non-stop meat grinder wasn't exactly the intended atmosphere. The mission 'Dark as a Dungeon' was also broken for players who'd hit the point of no return, cancelling immediately on trigger, that's fixed now too.
Mod users should note GSC's standing warning: updates can break existing modifications, and if you're seeing performance issues after Sealed Truth, disabling your mods is the first step. Full patch notes below.
