STALCRAFT: X Patch Notes (1st April 2026)

STALCRAFT: X's April 1st patch is live, bringing a limited-time April Fools session mode and a temporary side quest to the Zone.

STALCRAFT: X dropped a small but seasonal patch today, and for once the April 1st timing is intentional. The headline addition is the Petard Server, a limited-time April Fools session mode where players jump into a firecracker-filled map and compete to prove who the real Raincoat boss is.

The mode runs until April 6 at 05:00 UTC, so you have five days to work through the Event Hub challenges. Worth knowing: kills and deaths on the Petard Server don't count toward your Session Battles statistics, so you can throw yourself into the chaos without worrying about your record taking a hit. The patch also includes a temporary side quest tied to the event.

It's a lightweight update by design, clearly built around the event window rather than any systemic changes. If you've been following STALCRAFT: X's patch cadence since the March 18th update, this one's more of a seasonal detour than a balance pass. Full patch notes below.

Petard Server April Fools session mode

Added a temporary session mode. Jump into the April Fools server packed with firecrackers. You have 5 days to prove who the real Raincoat boss is and complete challenges in the Event Hub.

Petard Server will be available until April 6, 05:00 (UTC).

Kills and deaths on this map do not count toward Session Battles statistics.

Temporary side quest

Added a time limited quest featuring Automatic Gauss Rifle as a reward. Head to the Bar, find Estacada, and complete this special quest before it’s gone! It will only be active for one day.

Auction changes

  • Bids placed in the last 60 seconds now extend the auction lot by 60 seconds;
  • Introduced a minimum bid increase, requiring new bids to be at least 2% higher than the current bid, with the increase capped at 35 000 rubles;
  • Removed listing fee — commission is now only charged upon sale;
  • Added the ability to list items without a starting bid (if set to zero). Such items can only be purchased at the specified buyout price;
  • Added background to item quantity numbers for better readability;

  • Maximum listing price is now limited to a 10-digit value.

Operations fixes

  • Fixed parkour sections in Sea of Exclusion Operation, that were impossible to complete in super-heavy armour;
  • Fixed doorways in Sea of Exclusion that prevented large NPCs from passing through;
  • Added interactive objects to The Big Clean Up and Focus Operations;
  • Updated star requirements for Sea of Exclusion completion: 17 minutes — 3 stars; 21 minutes — 2 stars; 25 minutes — 1 star.

Wild North updates

  • Added a voice room area before the second anomalous emission zone. Experienced players have set up a gathering spot to find groups and prepare before dangerous runs.
  • Adjusted drop mechanics for sugar and regular airdrops;
  • Adjusted spawn chances for mutant events;
  • Fixed an issue where Rat and Piggy events could fail to spawn;
  • Increased the radius that prevents events from spawning near players;
  • Reduced grenade throw range for Murmur fighters;
  • Fixed patrol behaviour that caused some NPCs to remain stationary;
  • Fixed continuous drone spawning from Murmur Puppeteer.

Session modes changes

Wormhole

  • Reworked covers in the underground tunnel and restored the exit at the end;
  • Widened doorways for smoother movement.

GOST-17

Added the ability to wall-jump. Also available in the April Fools mode.

Subdivision Battles fixes

Coniferous

  • Added a breach in the roof at point A;

  • Reworked covers in the eastern part of point A;

  • Added third-floor space in buildings between A–B and B–C for Mobile camps and Outposts placing;

  • Ground-level ramp at point B is now smoother. It can now be blocked with barricades;

  • New cover spots added in point B by the stone ramp.

Other

  • Added 1x–1.5x zoom switching for the DOTSAT scope.
  • Added game code preloading during game launch. This should reduce stuttering, especially during first-time interactions with in-game mechanics (e.g., opening interfaces).
  • Added bullet impact visuals on various surfaces.
  • Added explosion impact effects.
  • Added a “Cosmetics” tag in the in-game shop for cosmetic items.
  • Shop previews now clearly indicate when an item is cosmetic and does not include gear.
  • Added a “Temporarily non-transferable cosmetics” tag for Aesthete cases.
  • Removed the movement speed penalty when player touches walls.
  • Increased interaction range for ziplines.
