The 5th August patch closes out STALCRAFT: X's Triumphs season and makes a deliberate shift in how Coliseum rewards its players. The changes are modest in scope but reveal a clear design direction: the studio is tightening the link between match outcome and payoff, tilting the economy harder toward winning teams.

Coliseum's reward structure has been rebalanced so reputation and battle tokens now scale directly with team victory. The headline change is the winning team bonus rising from 10% to 25%, a significant jump that compounds across a play session. This is not merely a cosmetic tweak. Players grinding reputation on losing teams will now accumulate it roughly half as fast as those on winning squads. The loot pool for top-performing players has also shifted, with Portable Quantum Generators and Anomalous Serums now in rotation where they were absent before. For players chasing specific artifacts or crafting materials, this repool matters; what counted as a viable grind route yesterday may no longer be efficient.

The practical consequence cuts both ways. Winning becomes materially more rewarding, which should tighten match quality by incentivising participation from players who care about progression. However, players on losing streaks will feel the economy slow noticeably, potentially pushing them toward other modes or the cash shop. Whether that is intentional pressure or an unintended side effect is unclear from the patch notes alone.

Triumphs itself closes at August 6 at 01:00 UTC, ending the window to earn Pops' coins from challenges and faction participation. The Trailblazer Case, which contained the Bale container, is no longer for sale. The container itself remains in the game and can be opened if already purchased; it trades capacity for cheaper assembly costs, making it a niche tool for speed builds rather than a general upgrade. Race of faction winners will receive cosmetic motifs for the Albatross and ZIVCAS exoskeletons, distributed by in-game mail after maintenance on August 12.

The Sea of Exclusion Operation timers have been extended from 17-21-25 minutes to 20-24-28, a modest increase aimed at improving match balance. Without context on what balance problem the extension solves, the change reads as a tempo adjustment rather than a fundamental fix. The final seasonal cosmetic bundle (Vanguard, Prestige, and Ultima tiers) has been added to the store, offering Season Pass levels, Overdrives, and a charm featuring a random operative portrait.

Quality-of-life improvements include separate keybinds for the quick access menu and medicine use, a fix for identical barter items failing to stack, and a larger colour selection window with scroll memory. These are friction reductions rather than feature additions, but they address real annoyances. The walking animation for bolts and grenades in first-person view is a small polish touch that rounds out the update. What is absent is any mention of broader balance changes to weapons, armour, or abilities; this patch is seasonal housekeeping and reward restructuring, not a rebalance pass.

End of Triumphs and Race of faction

Trailblazers Case opened!

If you purchased the Trailblazer Case, you can now open it. The secret item of this year is Bale container.

The container has increased efficiency, letting you get the most out of your artifacts. This partially compensates for its low capacity.

This container can be a great choice for speed builds: assembling artifacts in this stylish container is easier and cheaper than using its alternatives.

Now that the case contents are revealed, it is no longer available for purchase in Pops' shop.

Important note!

You can receive Pops’ coins for completing Triumphs challenges and participating in the Race of faction until August 6 at 01:00 UTC. After that, it will no longer be possible to obtain Pops’ coins for completing challenges or participating in the race.

Until the end of the season (September 2), you can still:

  • Receive additional coins using the promo code STALZONE2026;
  • Spend Pops’ coins in the event shop;
  • Complete 10 challenges to receive the Trailblazer Statue;
  • Complete 30 challenges to receive a commemorative achievement and profile frame.

Race of faction winners

Members of the winning faction will receive the Triumphator motif for the Albatross Heavy Assault Armored Exoskeleton and ZIVCAS M2-C Exoarmor!

The reward will be granted to players who were in the winning faction at the time the Race of faction ended — August 6 at 01:00 UTC.

The reward will be sent to the winners by in-game mail after the maintenance on August 12.

Coliseum changes

Balance of rewards

  • Adjusted the logic for awarding reputation and battle tokens in Coliseum mode: the reward amount now depends directly on the outcome of the match for the player's team.
  • Increased reputation and battle token bonuses for players of the winning team: from 10% to 25%.

  • Updated list of possible rewards for top players in Coliseum mode:

  • A new chapter has been launched in Event Hub: added 9 challenges with unique rewards for completion.

The mushroom epic 3

Here comes our legendary storyteller, aged like a mushroom tincture:

The old man's out for round three,

Dressed exactly as you'll see.

He will gladly tell the tale,

How things ended, without fail.

Wait until he gives reply,

Wait until his greeting's nigh.

Only then go meet him there —

He'll have quite a tale to share.

Operation changes

  • Adjusted the timer for the Sea of Exclusion Operation: changed from 17–21–25 to 20–24–28 minutes to improve match balance.

Final pack: Vanguard, Prestige, and Ultima

The final bundle chain has been added to the store — the perfect choice to wrap up the season in style.

It includes Season Pass levels and Overdrives, Tactical Stockpile crates, and a unique weapon and armor paint to make you stand out on the battlefield.

The last bundle in the collection also features an exclusive charm with a random personal operative on the card!

Other changes

  • Added a walking animation for first-person view while equipped with bolts and grenades in hand.
  • Added the ability to assign separate keys for opening the quick access menu and using medicines.
  • Fix for a bug that prevented identical barter items from being combined into stacks when moved to the inventory (for example, loot from patrol NPCs and NPC spots).
  • Increased the size of the color selection window and added the ability to remember the scroll position when reopening it.
