Stalcraft X Patch Notes (29th July 2026)
Free Play is gone from three regions, Coliseum classes face significant nerfs, and matchmaking penalties are now more granular. Here's what actually changes for you.

The 29th July patch tackles a specific regional crisis: Coliseum matches in NA, NEA, and SEA were failing to start because player counts were too low. Rather than wait for the player base to grow, the developers have nuked Free Play mode entirely in those three regions and sweetened Fair Fight rewards to push players toward the populated queue. This is triage, not balance. It tells you Coliseum is struggling in those regions hard enough that losing a game mode is preferable to letting matches time out.
The class changes cut deeper than the headline suggests. Tank's Self-Destruct radius shrinks from 5 to 3 metres, which sounds modest until you realise it changes when the ability can secure kills in tight corridors or group fights. More punishing: Stimulator's speed boost drops from 50% to 40%, and recharge balloons from 25 to 35 seconds. That's a 40% longer cooldown on your mobility tool. Tank was already the slowest class; this makes repositioning a genuine commitment rather than a spammable tactic. Specialist takes the heaviest hit. Tranquilizer rounds fall from three to two per magazine, recharge time climbs from 8 to 10 seconds, and Psionic Mine damage halves from 200 to 125. The mine blast radius gains a metre, but losing 37.5% of your damage output while deploying fewer of them means Specialist's area denial and burst potential are substantially weaker. Phantom's changes are surgical: you can no longer interact with installations or revival markers while phased, and stasis anomalies now kill you even under Escape to the Inside Out. Both are direct nerfs to survival and objective play.
Matchmaking penalties are now split by action. If you decline a found match, only you get penalised. Your squad mates walk free. Once confirmation time expires, only those who didn't confirm face the penalty. This matters because it stops one player's network hiccup or indecision from punishing their entire group, which was a genuine friction point in squad play. Groups of up to three on NA, SEA, and NEA now share a single queue instead of three splitting into separate brackets, which should reduce wait times by consolidating the player pool.
The interface overhaul to team colours, allies always blue, enemies one of four distinct hues, sounds cosmetic but affects readability in chaotic fights. The new statistics page adding K/D ratio, objective captures, and support points gives you real data on performance beyond raw kills. Module drag-and-drop in safe zones is a genuine quality-of-life win for loadout tweaking without opening the upgrade window.
What's absent: no mention of Tank's overall viability after this patch, no word on whether Fair Fight rewards are enough to sustain those regions long-term, and no acknowledgement of whether Specialist needed this much simultaneous damage and utility loss. The patch stops matches from failing to launch, but whether it stops players from leaving those regions is still unanswered.

Coliseum adjustments
NA, NEA, SEA
To resolve matchmaking issues and prevent matches from failing to start due to a low player count in the NA, NEA, and SEA regions, we have implemented the following changes:
- disabled the option to start Free Play mode;
- increased rewards for playing in the Fair Fight mode.
General changes
- Increased penalty for completely wiping out a squad from 10% to 15% of command points.
- Reduced throw force in antigravity fields.
- Antigravity barrels now also accelerate flying bullets by 50% (similar to the Tank's ability grenades).
- Reduced damage dealt by explosive barrels from 310 to 250.
- Reduced blast radius of explosive barrels from 3 to 1 meter. The total radius and minimum damage have not changed.
- Added new mode statistics: overall and current K/D ratio, games played, wins, kills, deaths, rifts captured, batteries deployed, installations charged, enemies detected, combat points, support points, objective points, and player respawns.
- Fixed an issue that allowed players to bring grenades into a match.
- Toggleable items are now reset to their default state at the end of the round.
- Disabled the ability to open the inventory in the mode.
Tank
- Reduced the Self-Destruc ability's full-damage radius from 5 to 3 meters.
- Reduced the Stimulator's speed bonus from 50% to 40%.
- The recharge time for the Stimulator has been increased from 25 to 35 seconds.
- The item's animation no longer plays when the High Gravity Aura ability is activated.
Phantom
- Interaction with the Installation and the revival marker is prohibited while the player is in another dimension.
- Updated visual effect for a cluster grenade explosion.
- Stasis anomaly now kills a player who is under the effect of the Escape to the Inside Out ability.
Specialist
- The number of Tranquilizer rounds has been reduced from three to two.
- The recharge time has been increased from 8 to 10 seconds.
- A hit from the Tranquilizer now also marks the enemy with a scanner for 1 second.
- Reduced damage from Psionic Mine from 200 to 125.
- The mine's blast radius has been increased from 3 to 4 meters.
- The maximum number of mines that can be deployed at one time has been reduced from three to two.
Matchmaking
- On the NA, SEA, and NEA servers, players and groups of up to three people now share a common queue. The separate queue for groups of three players has been disabled.
- When a player joins a queue, they and their party members are automatically removed from other matchmaking queues and the preliminary Operations search.
- The display of the estimated match wait time has been updated.
- Fixed a bug that caused players who had not declined to confirm a match to be blocked from searching.
- If a player declines a match that has been found, only the player who declined it will now receive a penalty.
- Once the confirmation period has ended, only players who have not confirmed their participation will be penalized.
- Fixed an issue where gear could remain locked after a canceled match.
Interface
- Updated the team color schemes:
allies are now always displayed in blue color;
enemies are assigned one of four distinct colors.
- The new color scheme is used in the HUD, match confirmation window, statistics, closed lobby, and battle results.
- Added new team icons to the match confirmation window.
Fixes
- Fixed being able to teleport inside walls and other level geometry using a teleport grenade.
- Fixed battery duplication.
- Fixed the behavior of temporary items and active abilities when receiving a battery or a respawn marker.
- Interacting with batteries, stations, respawn markers, and canisters now correctly interrupts the animation of the currently used item.
- Items obtained from barrels are now correctly considered to be tied to their location.
- Fixed the display of information about modules, attachments, and artifacts in player profiles.
Sound and localization
- The English voiceover is linked to the speaker volume setting.
- Added Spanish and Korean versions of the mode guide.
Modules changes
- Modules are now automatically removed from a weapon when it is sold, deleted, or used in a barter.
- Weapon modules can now be rearranged by dragging and dropping them directly in the inventory, without opening the upgrade window. This feature is available only in safe zones with a personal storage access.
Other changes and fixes
- Fixed an issue where weapons were not being painted correctly with one-color paints, which occurred after the previous update.
- Fixed an issue where Arsenal's available inventory was displayed incorrectly during the first 5 hours after midnight.
- Gladiator motif is now also compatible with the Albatross Heavy Assault Exoarmor.
- Fixed an issue where the underbarrel attachment and silencer, which come standard on the FAMAS G2 SG, could not be removed.
- Fixed multiple naming inconsistency bugs.
- Fixed multiple translation inconsistency bugs.
- Fixed the translation of several characters and legacy items.
