Sand Raiders Of Sophie Update #5 Patch Notes (24th July 2026)
Update #5 lands today with terrain optimisations, artifact rebalancing, and fixes for item duplication and softlocks that plagued extraction.

Hologryph and tinyBuild Games have pushed Update #5 out now, and it's a solid response to weeks of player complaints about terrain performance and balance friction.
The terrain streaming overhaul is the headline here. Loading is now smoother and rendering is optimised, which should cut the stutters and pop-in that have plagued extraction runs. That's the kind of invisible-until-it-breaks fix that makes a real difference to moment-to-moment play.
Artifacts have been rebalanced across the board. The Sphere Shield is now impenetrable from both sides and jumps from 15k to 25k HP, making it a genuine defensive tool rather than a liability. Activated artifacts can now be destroyed by direct damage (900 HP), though the WOK Bomb sits outside that rule and requires an EMP Wave to crack. There's also a critical exploit fix: item duplication via boxes is gone, and the trampler no longer clips under terrain after destruction. A softlock that trapped teams of two or more during extraction has been squashed as well.
Anti-cheat received improvements, though the trampler capturing mechanic stays disabled until next week alongside further security updates. The full changelist, including UI fixes and known issues, is below.
