Project Zomboid Charity Merch Update Patch Notes (14th April 2026)
The Project Zomboid community raised more than $180,000 for Médecins Sans Frontières through the Brawler Spiffo merch drop. Not a bad result for a plush zombie survivor.
Not every update ships a new mechanic or squashes a crash bug. Sometimes it's just good news.
According to the official Steam announcement, the Project Zomboid community raised more than $180,000 USD through the recent "Brawler Spiffo" merch campaign, with all proceeds going to Médecins Sans Frontières. Merch partner Makeship also chipped in an additional 5% of all proceeds on top of that. For a survival game with a dedicated but niche fanbase, that's a impressive number, and it says a lot about how much goodwill Indie Stone has built over the years.
The studio notes more merch is planned later in 2026, so if you missed the Brawler Spiffo plush or the hoodie, keep an eye out. Here's the full breakdown.

Hey all!
This is just a quick and happy update for those who had been following our recent "Brawler Spiffo" merch drop in support of Médecins Sans Frontières.
Thanks to the amazing support of the Project Zomboid community, we were able to raise more than $180,000 (USD) to support the amazing and important work of MSF! In addition to this, our merch partner Makeship contributed a further 5% of all proceeds!
A big thank you to everyone who contributed or shared, and we hope you're enjoying your PZ merch, whether it be a badass plush Spiffo or a cozy hoodie. More merch will be coming later in the year!
