PAYDAY 3: Update 3.4 Changelog Patch Notes (21st April 2026)
PAYDAY 3's Update 3.4 lands with a reworked No Rest for the Wicked heist, mid-air vaulting, and a substantial round of bug fixes across nearly every heist in the game.
Mid-air vaulting is probably the flashiest addition in Update 3.4, but the bigger deal for regular players is the No Rest for the Wicked rework. Starbreeze has rebuilt the heist for better combat flow, difficulty scaling, and clearer objectives, with shorter but more intense assault cycles across all difficulties. If that heist frustrated you before, this looks like a overhaul rather than a light touch-up.
Beyond that, the AI crew will now pick up loot bags from the ground, negotiation times have been rebalanced to favour lower difficulties, and you can now mantle directly from a slide. Small quality-of-life stuff, but adds up over dozens of runs. The audio side also gets a first-pass remix, with Special enemy sounds made more directional and guard footsteps audible from further away, which should matter in stealth.
On the content side, there's a free First Responder Tailor Pack to claim, community-voted masks, and a High Society outfit bundle. One known issue to flag: the Punch OVERKILL weapon progression is stuck at level 0, and Starbreeze says a hotfix is already in the works. Here's everything that changed.
