PAYDAY 3: Update 3.4.1 Changelog Patch Notes (24th April 2026)

PAYDAY 3's 3.4.1 hotfix cleans up progression blocks, a pair of crashes, and a missing UI setting that slipped through Update 3.4 just days ago.

Three days after Update 3.4 overhauled No Rest for the Wicked and added mid-air vaulting, Starbreeze is back with a cleanup pass. Update 3.4.1 is live now, and it's a focused hotfix rather than anything sweeping.

The most player-facing fix here is the No Rest for the Wicked progression block that was locking people out when they used the Equipment Dead Drop favor with the thermal lance entry method. Progression bugs in heist games are particularly brutal because there's no clean workaround mid-run, so this one needed sorting fast. Alongside that, The Punch OVERKILL weapon had its own progression issues patched, and Infamous Rewards tied to PAYDAY 2 Milestones were failing to show up in inventories correctly. There are also two crash fixes, one triggered by the DLC store interface on Steam and one that could fire if a player got taken into custody after throwing a smoke grenade.

One addition rather than a fix: the "Teammate Suspicion Detection" UI setting introduced in 3.4 has now been properly documented in that update's changelog, in case you missed it. Set it to 'Advanced' and you'll see a detection meter above teammates who are in a guard or camera's line of sight during Stealth. The complete notes are below.
