Path of Exile 3.28.0h Patch Notes (7th May 2026)
Path of Exile's latest patch is a small one, but there's a cosmetic sale running alongside it worth knowing about.
Grinding Gear Games has pushed 3.28.0h live for Path of Exile today, and this one is light on mechanical changes. The patch itself doesn't carry any listed balance or bug fix entries in the notes, which puts it firmly in the housekeeping category.
What is running alongside the update is a sale on cosmetic effects from the Third Edict Mystery Box. All microtransactions from that box, plus their variations, are currently discounted in the shop. I'll be honest: a sale tied to a mystery box is still a mystery box sale, and those have never been my favourite monetisation structure. At least buying individual effects at a discount is more transparent than gambling on a box at full price.
