Path of Exile's 3.28.0g patch lands today alongside a limited-time weekend sale on Hideouts and Pets microtransactions.

Grinding Gear Games dropped 3.28.0g for Path of Exile today, and this one arrives alongside a weekend sale rather than a slate of balance changes. If you've been sitting on hideout upgrades or eyeing a new pet companion, now's the time to move on that.

The studio is running a discounted microtransaction event covering Hideouts and Pets, with the sale running until 6:00 PM PDT today. GGG has also dropped a community hideout showcase video for anyone who wants design inspiration before spending. I'll be honest, the hideout system in PoE is one of those features that quietly swallows hours, so a sale here will land well with a certain type of player.
