Old School RuneScape Leagues VI Changes Patch Notes (23rd April 2026)
Jagex rolls out the first round of Leagues VI: Demonic Pacts tweaks, with pact rebalancing, retroactive task fixes, and a pile of relic corrections.
One week into Leagues VI: Demonic Pacts and Jagex has already seen enough to warrant a proper rebalance pass. The Leagues VI Changes update, live today, addresses some of the rougher edges from launch.
The biggest gameplay shift is to Demonic Pacts themselves. Prayer penetration nodes jump from 15% to 25%, Accuracy small nodes go from 15% to 25%, and big nodes climb from 35% to 50%. Small percentage damage nodes for Magic, Ranged, and Melee now also grant 10% global accuracy on top. That's a meaningful bump across the board, and combined with the retroactive pact point additions for tasks like equipping an Obsidian Cape or completing a Deep, players who've already been grinding should find their accounts in a noticeably better spot just from opening the Pacts interface. The auto-completion of quests and diary tasks on area unlocks is also a smart quality-of-life call; nobody should be blocked from Morytania Legs 2 because of a rum-smuggling errand.
There are relic fixes throughout too, covering Endless Harvest, Hotfoot, Flow State, and Grimoire, most of which were behaving incorrectly in specific scenarios. Here's everything that changed.

Ever since Leagues VI launched last week, Gielinor has been transformed by demonic power. We've been watching it all unfold: time off was booked, theories were crafted, routes were planned, and pacts were made... With the first week of ascended 'Scaping experience now behind us, it's time to roll out those initial tweaks for a smoother League journey. If you haven't seen already, you can check out all the hotfixes we've deployed so far in its dedicated blog post. Now, let's dive into what's changed with this particular update...
Earlier this week, we deployed a hotfix to give everyone 1 free reset for Demonic Pacts. In addition to that, with today's update, "Defeat Hueycoatl 1 time" has now become a pact reset task. This means completing it will give a reset point and if you've already completed this task, you'll be retroactively granted the reset point upon opening the Pacts interface.
Furthermore, we've added pact points to the following existing tasks:
- Equip an Obsidian Cape
- Equip any piece of armour from the moons of peril
- Equip an Echo weapon
- Complete 1 Deep delve
If you've already completed these tasks, pact points will be added to your account retroactively upon opening the Pacts interface. Note that the 40 pact points max limit will still apply.
Last but not least, we've implemented improvements to rebalance Demonic Pacts.
- The boost for all Prayer penetration nodes have been increased to 25% from 15%.
- The boost for Accuracy small nodes have been increased to 25% from 15%, and big nodes to 50% from 35%.
- Small % damage nodes for Magic, Ranged and Melee now also give 10% to global accuracy.
Echo bosses are key milestones in your Leagues journey, even more so this time with pact points and resets locked behind them. We agree with your feedback that they should be more style-agnostic, so we've adjusted some of the defence bonuses to make them easier for builds that were having an overly rough time.
- Ranged defence reduced to 40 from 200
- Magic defence reduced to 20 from 200
- Ranged defence reduced to 90 from 900
- Echo Dagannoth Rex:
- Melee defence reduced to 100 from 255
- Ranged defence reduced to 100 from 255
- Echo Dagannoth Prime:
- Melee defence reduced to 100 from 255
- Magic defence reduced to 100 from 255
- Echo Dagannoth Supreme:
- Ranged defence reduced to 150 from 550
- Magic defence reduced to 100 from 255
- Crawling:
- Ranged defence reduced to 65 from 100
- Magic defence reduced to 65 from 100
- Airborne:
- Melee defence reduced to 50 from 100
- Ranged defence reduced to 70 from 100
- Magic defence reduced to 70 from 100

- Echo Thermonuclear smoke devil will now trigger thorns on its basic attacks.
Upon unlocking Asgarnia:
- A Porcine of Interest, Sheep Shearer, Cook's Assistant and Restless Ghost quests will be auto-completed. This will also allow you to purchase the Lumbridge Painting from Sir Renitee for 2,000 coins.

- If you've already unlocked Asgarnia, all of the above will be retroactively completed when you next open the Area/Relic interface.
