Java Edition 26.2 launches today with refinements and fixes as the version moves into stable release.
Java Edition 26.2 is live as of today. This marks the full release of the version that's been in pre-release and release candidate testing over the past couple of weeks, so if you've been following the RC builds, most of this will be familiar ground.
The focus here is stability and polish rather than sweeping new features. Minecraft's development cycle tends to be methodical, each major version gets weeks of testing before the final push, and 26.2 is no exception. If you've hit any crashes or odd behavior in the RCs, this build should smooth those out.
