Update 1.11.1 hits servers today at 09:00 UTC, bringing a significant rebalance to Mechabellum's Tech ecosystem. The centrepiece is a complete rework of Stormcaller, which now trades raw damage output for survivability: it boosts ATK by 120% and Missile HP by 250%, but slows attack speed by 25%. The trade-off is deliberate. Developers designed it specifically to counter Missile Interceptors, though the slower firing rate makes it a poor choice against Light Units.

Beyond Stormcaller, this patch is largely about making underused Techs competitive. Sledgehammer drops from 150 to 100 cost following earlier nerfs, while Vulcan takes a modest hit after dominating the meta recently. A dozen Techs have been recosted downward. Void Eye, War Factory, Scorpion, Fire Badger, Abyss, Tarantula, Raiden, and Typhoon all become cheaper. Signalling developers want players experimenting across the roster rather than clustering around a handful of picks.

On the quality-of-life front, you can now invite Steam friends directly into lobbies, the system remembers your filter preferences, and emote slots expand from 8 to 16. Two new map layouts with fewer defensive structures round out the changes. The full patch, including unit variant adjustments and bug fixes for Abyss and shield interactions, is below.

Buff Nerf Fix Tweak

Update 1.11.1 will take place at 09:00 UTC (06:00 Eastern Daylight Time, 11:00 Central European Summer Time) on Thursday, July 9th, during which the server will undergo approximately 1 hour of maintenance. This update added a new Tech to Stormcaller, made many balance adjustments, and implemented a few QoL improvements.

Balance Adjustments

Stormcaller

  • changed to : Increases ATK by 120%, increases Missile HP by 250%, but increases Attack Interval by 25%
Developer's Note: This Tech provides players with a means to counter Missile Interceptors. It is worth noting that the significantly increased Attack Interval makes Stormcaller particularly ineffective against Light Units.

Sledgehammer

  • Cost 150 → 100
Developer's Note: After the nerf to , seems a bit too weak.

Mustang

  • Cost 200 → 250
  • Cost 300 → 250
Developer's Note: We have adjusted both the most and least popular Tech for the Mustang, aiming to make the Mustang's Tech choices more diverse

Vortex

  • Cost 200 → 250
  • ATK modifier +20% → +30%
Developer's Note: We hope this adjustment will allow a small number of Vortexes to have a larger impact

Void Eye

  • Cost 200 → 150
Developer's Note: We have buffed the relatively less popular Tech of Void Eye

War Factory

  • Cost 250 → 200
Developer's Note: We have buffed the relatively less popular Tech of War Factory

Scorpion

  • Cost 150 → 100
Developer's Note: We have buffed the relatively less popular Tech of Scorpion

Fire Badger

  • Cost 300 → 250
Developer's Note: We have buffed the relatively less popular Tech of Fire Badger

Abyss

  • Cost 300 → 250
Developer's Note: We have buffed the relatively less popular Tech of Abyss

Tarantula

  • Cost 200 → 150

Raiden

  • Cost 200 → 150
Developer's Note: We have buffed the relatively less popular Tech of Raiden

Typhoon

Developer's Note: We have buffed the relatively less popular Tech of Typhoon

Hacker

  • Attack animation time 0.9s → 0.6s
  • ATK 645 → 600 (-7%)
Developer's Note: This adjustment will slightly increase the efficiency of Hackers against Units like Sledgehammers and Typhoons

Vulcan

  • HP 32559 → 30279 (-7%)
  • Cost 300 → 250
  • Cost 200 → 150
  • Cost 250 → 300
Developer's Note: Vulcan has been a bit too popular recently, so we've applied a small nerf to it while buffing its less popular Techs.

Sandworm

  • ATK 9352 → 9726 (+4%)
  • Cost 150 → 100
Developer's Note: We have buffed the relatively less popular Tech of Sandworm
