Mechabellum 1.10.2 Patch Notes (14th May 2026)

Mechabellum's pre-Season 9 cleanup patch nerfs three overpowered new Techs and gives Scorpion a meaningful buff against high-HP units.

Season 9 is still a few weeks out, but Game River isn't waiting around. Update 1.10.2 dropped today at 08:30 UTC, with roughly two hours of server maintenance, and it's squarely focused on reining in the new Techs introduced for Mustang, Hound, and Arclight before they fully warp the meta.

Mustang's Culling Rounds gets a cost bump from 150 to 200, Hound's Chamber Compression drops from a 70% to 65% ATK-per-second increase, and Arclight's Shockwave AOE damage falls from 82 to 75. None of these are dramatic cuts, but they're enough to stop those three Techs from being obvious auto-picks. The more interesting change is on the Scorpion side: Acid Attack gets cheaper (300 down to 250) and lasts longer (15s up to 18s), explicitly to make it a better answer to Titans and other high-HP units. The developers flag this as the first step in a wider Scorpion rework, with a new Tech coming in Season 9.

There's also a small but useful quality-of-life addition: players can now preview the type of the next rift anomaly before it arrives, which should take some of the guesswork out of planning. Season 9 hits the Public Test Server on May 21st and goes live on June 9th.

Here's the full breakdown.

Full Patch Notes

Greetings, commanders!

The brand new Season 9 is about to launch on the Public Test Server on May 21st and will take place on the Live Server on June 9th.

However, before that, we still need to make a few balancing and system adjustments to prepare for the new season. Update 1.10.2 will take place at 08:30 UTC (4:30 Eastern Daylight Time, 10:30 Central European Summer Time) on May 14th, during which the server will undergo approximately 2 hours of maintenance.

Below is the content of Update 1.10.2:

Balance Adjustments

Mustang

  • 【Culling Rounds】Cost 150 → 200
Developer's Note: The new Techs of Mustang, Hound, and Arclight have brought more tactics to the game, but data shows that they are currently slightly overpowered. The goal of this adjustment is to slightly nerf these three new Techs while ensuring they remain useful, and we hope this gives more opportunities for other units and Techs to be used.

Hound

  • 【Chamber Compression】ATK increases by 70% per second → 65%

Arclight

  • 【Shockwave】AOE damage 82 → 75

Scorpion

  • 【Acid Attack】Cost 300 → 250, Duration 15s → 18s
Developer's Note: Our goal for adjusting the Scorpion is to make it more effective against high-HP units, including Titans. This adjustment is the first step in a series of adjustments to Scorpion, and we will also add a new Tech to it in Season 9.

Void Eye

  • 【Electromagnetic Armor】EMP effect duration 4s → 3.5s

Farseer

  • 【Photon Emission】Startup time required 1.1s → 0.6s
Developer's Note: Adjusted Photon Emission will provide more stable resistance against EMP effects, while also ensuring Sandworm will be definitely affected by Photon Emission.

Overlord

  • 【Photon Emission】Startup time required 1.1s → 0.6s

Battlefield Powers

  • 【Photon Emission】Startup time required 1.8s → 0.6s

Other Improvements

  • Now players can preview the type of the next rift anomaly.
  • Added option to apply Anomalies in Solo - Practice mode
  • Added sound effects for Tournament round start
  • Streamers can now register livestream accounts from multiple platforms

Bugfixes

  • Fixed several UI display issues
  • Fixed several localization issues
  • Fixed several VFX issues
  • Fixed the issue where the Melting Point \[Electromagnetic Barrage] sometimes failed to correctly disable the Void Eye’s \[Electromagnetic Armor]
