Mechabellum 1.10.1 Performance Optimization Notes (20th April 2026)
Mechabellum's latest patch targets performance for older machines, with balance changes to Spider Mine and Hound's Incendiary Bomb rounding things out.
Performance has been Game River's stated priority lately, and Update 1.10.1 makes good on that. The studio says players on older machines should notice a meaningful improvement, with optimizations covering Sandworm, Fortress, Fang, Phoenix, Mustang, Wasp, and Hound's Fire Extinguisher, plus some map decoration and ground effect overhead trimmed down. If the game has felt sluggish on your rig, this is the patch you've been waiting for.
On the balance side, Tarantula's Spider Mine gets a lifeline: movement speed up from 21 to 24, and HP jumping from 500 to 750. The developers admit it's been underperforming, and this should at least let it reach targets before dying. Hound's Incendiary Bomb, meanwhile, gets a cost hike from 200 to 250 after its win rate crept too high over the past month. A 50-credit increase is a real tax on what's been one of the game's most-picked Techs.
Visual updates to Arclight, Phoenix, and Wasp round things out, along with a fix for Spider Mine's explosion radius not matching its description. Everything in the update is listed below.
Full Patch Notes

Tarantula
