Mechabellum 1.10.1.1 Patch Notes (23rd April 2026)
Mountain's Smoke Bomb and Gun-launched Missile get reined in as players find their cost-effectiveness outpacing other Techs.
Mountain is the focus of update 1.10.1.1, which landed today and targets a handful of Techs that have quietly become too efficient as the playerbase gets more creative with unit compositions.
The developers are explicit about why: buffs applied to Mountain's niche Techs last year are now causing problems, with Gun-launched Missile's rocket splash radius dropping from 25 to 15, and Smoke Bomb getting both a cost hike (250 to 350) and fewer bombs per launch (10 down to 8). Those are meaningful hits to two Techs that were clearly doing more work than intended. Mustang's Culling Rounds also gets a cost bump from 100 to 150, while Arclight sees its base cost nudged up alongside a cheaper Charged Shot, a small rebalance that might actually make Charged Shot builds more viable.
It's a focused patch rather than a sweeping one, but the Mountain changes in particular should shift how players build around that unit at higher levels. A few display bugs tied to Sandworm and the Abyss are fixed too. Here's everything that changed.

Developer's note: Last year, we buffed some niche Techs of Mountain. Recently, as players explore different Mountain tactics more, the high cost-effectiveness of these niche Techs has become a problem. The goal of this adjustment is to make the cost-effectiveness of these Techs similar to that of other Techs.
