Hunt: Showdown 1896 New Update I Developer Gameplay (13th May 2026)
Crytek is streaming the new Legacy Chronicle: Beware the Shadow update live today, with giveaways and developer gameplay on Twitch and YouTube.
Crytek went live today to walk players through the latest Hunt: Showdown 1896 update, and this one comes with a full developer gameplay stream rather than just a wall of patch text. The focus is the new Legacy Chronicle: Beware the Shadow, and the team is playing through it live so you can see exactly what's changed before you drop into the bayou yourself.
The stream is running simultaneously on Twitch and the Hunt: Showdown YouTube channel, with the dev team taking questions and running giveaways alongside the gameplay. It's a decent way to surface a patch, and I'd rather watch a developer actually play through new content than parse a changelog in isolation.
The official patch notes are live now. Here's the full breakdown.
