Hunt: Showdown 1896 2.8.0.3 Patch Notes (17th June 2026)
Crytek pushes a quick stability patch that gives the Uppercut some breathing room against the Haymaker.

The Uppercut gets a damage bump in 2.8.0.3, and honestly, it needed one. After the Inventory Slot Rework shifted the meta toward the Haymaker, the Uppercut fell behind, this patch restores its base damage to 126 across basic, FMJ, and Incendiary rounds, bringing it closer to its old power level. Crytek's dev note makes clear they're still tuning weapons based on Road to Hell feedback, so expect more balance shifts as the season progresses.
On the stability front, the patch addresses a dedicated server crash, an Xbox gamepad disconnect bug that was causing crashes, and fixes the Maxim M1895 continuing to fire after extraction, a particularly annoying one if you've hit it mid-hunt. Dark Sight trait delays have also improved, though Crytek notes they're still working toward a complete fix. The Uppercut's special ammo reserve count also gets corrected from 9 to 12 rounds.
