Hunt: Showdown 1896 Inferno Is Incoming Patch Notes (14th April 2026)
Inferno is almost here, and Crytek is sweetening the deal with a Double Event Points weekend for anyone still grinding the Battle Pass.
Inferno drops in two days, and Crytek is making sure no Hunter gets left behind on the Battle Pass before it does. Today's patch notes are light on mechanical changes but carry a useful announcement: from April 17 to 20, every mission will award double event points.
If you've been falling behind on the current Battle Pass, that four-day window is your best shot at closing the gap before Inferno reshapes the event landscape. Double points across every mission is a real boost, not a marginal one, and it lines up neatly with the weekend, so most players will actually be able to take advantage of it.
Crytek says more details on Inferno itself are still coming. Given the event kicks off in 48 hours, I'd expect that information soon. Everything in the update is listed below.
Full Patch Notes
Hunters,
The heat is rising — Inferno goes live in just two days. Get your firefighting kit ready and prepare for some fierce fights.
And if you're looking to catch up on the Battle Pass, this weekend is your chance. From 17–20 April, we're running a Double Event Points Boost: double the event points scored in every mission.
More details coming soon. Stay tuned.
