Hunt: Showdown 1896 Hotfix 2.7.0.3 Now Live Patch Notes (23rd March)
Crytek has dropped Hotfix 2.7.0.3 for Hunt: Showdown 1896, pulling the All Ears trait and squashing a PS5 crash bug.
Five days on from Update 2.7, Crytek has pushed Hotfix 2.7.0.3 for Hunt: Showdown 1896 today. It's a small patch, but two of the four fixes are worth flagging before you load in.
The biggest change is the outright removal of the All Ears trait. No explanation in the notes, but pulling a trait entirely rather than patching it suggests something was badly off, whether that's a balance problem or a bug causing unintended behaviour. The Bounty Clash fix is the other one to pay attention to: teams spawning near each other on certain compounds isn't a minor inconvenience in a game built around high-stakes extraction, so credit where it's due for getting that addressed quickly. PS5 players hitting a menu crash will also want to grab this update immediately.
Not a sweeping patch by any measure, but the Bounty Clash spawn fix alone makes it a worthwhile download. Full patch notes below.
Hunters,
Below are the notes for Hotfix 2.7.0.3..

- Removed the "All Ears" Trait

- Fixed the Bounty Clash game mode issue when players could spawn near another team on certain compounds
- Corrected the name of the "Night's Gift" Charm in Simplified Chinese
- Fixed a PS5 crash in the menu ~ The Hunt Team
