Hotel Barcelona Guest Notice: Patch 1.3.0 Notes (17th June 2026)
Hotel Barcelona's latest patch adds costumes from four indie games, adjusts difficulty timers, and lets you finally turn off unwanted invasions.

Patch 1.3.0 is live, and the biggest draw is obvious: four new collaboration costumes from Shadows of the Damned, Bye Sweet Carole, Death Game Hotel, and The Good Life. Free cosmetics are always welcome, especially when they're tied to games worth playing.
Beyond the wardrobe refresh, the real quality-of-life wins are here. Single-player invasions are now OFF by default, which is a huge relief if you're tired of getting jumped mid-exploration. The weather and time-of-day lottery screen is now more flexible, letting you tweak conditions before each run without burning through resources. Newcomer difficulty got timeout adjustments too, making early-game pacing less punishing.
There's also a handful of stability fixes addressing grab attacks and the Metallic player state, plus gnomes scattered through stages that restore health when smashed. The patch notes stay true to Hotel Barcelona's darkly comedic tone throughout, so expect some personality alongside the mechanical changes. Check the full breakdown below for every adjustment.
Full Patch Notes
Dear guests,
A message from the front desk.
Management has completed some light renovations, deep cleaning, wardrobe inspections, and the usual removal of unpleasant stains from the carpet. Patch 1.3.0 is now live, bringing new collaboration costumes, gameplay adjustments, quality-of-life improvements, and a few bug fixes for incidents that are best not discussed in the lobby.
Most importantly, the hotel closet has received several strange deliveries from some very special visitors.
Free Collaboration Costumes Have Arrived
As a thank you to everyone who has continued staying with us through the madness, Patch 1.3.0 adds new collaboration costumes in partnership with the following titles:
Shadows of the Damned
Bye Sweet Carole
Death Game Hotel
The Good Life
Please check your wardrobe before heading back into the nightmare. Some outfits may still smell faintly of gunpowder, roses, expensive hotel soap, or rural mystery.
Gameplay Adjustments and Housekeeping
We have adjusted the time until timeout for each area in Newcomer difficulty.
The weather lottery screen before sortie has been changed. Guests can now also change the time of day, and in single-player mode, choose whether to accept invasions.
In single-player mode, PvP invasion acceptance is now set to OFF by default. Guests who enjoy unexpected visitors may still turn it back on.
Various rerolls and time-of-day changes are now performed directly using coins.
The design of dropped money has been adjusted.
Treasure chest drop pools in bonus stages have been changed, and the difficulty of obtaining outfits has been adjusted.
Gnome dolls have been placed in each stage. Break them to restore health. We are not responsible for what the gnomes may think of this arrangement.
The appearance of destructible objects has been adjusted.
Doors that cause Phantom Lost now have a dedicated indicator above them. Please read the signs before entering. Or do not. The hotel respects poor decisions.
A Slasher Phantom item has been added to the sound settings in the Options menu.
Fixes
Fixed an issue where behavior could become unstable if Scapegoats or Final Girl activated while the player was taking a grab attack.
Fixed an issue where behavior could become unstable when receiving a grab attack while in the Metallic player state.
Fixed an issue where the attack hitbox of flamethrower enemies could sometimes remain.
Thank you for your continued stay at Hotel Barcelona.
The elevators are still dangerous.
The rooms are still cursed.
But at least the wardrobe is looking better than ever.
