Helldivers 2 Patch Delay Update Notes (28th May 2026)
Arrowhead is still waiting on platform partners before the next Helldivers 2 patch can go live, with no ETA currently confirmed.

There's no patch to celebrate today. Arrowhead posted a brief update confirming that the planned Helldivers 2 patch is being held up by an issue on the platform side, meaning the studio can't yet submit it for final checks or push it live.
According to the official announcement, Arrowhead is in close contact with their platform partners but has no ETA on when the blocker will be resolved. No specifics on what the issue is, which is frustrating, but at least they're being upfront about the hold-up rather than going quiet. Arrowhead communicating clearly during a delay is exactly what studios should do, and I'd rather have this short honest post than silence.
