Helldivers 2 Machinery of Oppression: 6.2.4 Notes (19th May 2026)
Helldivers 2 patch 6.2.4 is a small but focused drop, targeting audio issues via a Wwise fix.

A small one today. Patch 6.2.4, titled Machinery of Oppression, landed this morning and its scope is tight: a single Wwise audio fix aimed at squashing several sound issues that have been bugging players.
Audio problems in a live-service game like Helldivers 2 are easy to overlook until they aren't, and a Wwise-level fix suggests this was sitting deeper in the engine than a simple volume slider tweak. If you've been noticing missing sounds, audio cutting out mid-mission, or anything else feeling off on that front, this patch is likely the one addressing it. Not glamorous, but I'd rather Arrowhead ship a clean targeted fix than bundle it into a larger update and bury the changelog.
Known issues remain listed below. Here's everything that changed.
