
Hearts of Iron IV Warships of the Pacific - Hotfix, 1.17. (19th March)
Paradox has dropped a small hotfix for Hearts of Iron IV's Warships of the Pacific update, targeting two visual bugs that slipped through in 1.17.
Paradox dropped hotfix 1.17.5.1 for Hearts of Iron IV yesterday, a small but focused patch targeting a couple of visual bugs left over from the Warships of the Pacific update.
The two fixes here are both model-related. Incorrect ordering of infantry models was causing certain nations to fall back to the generic 3D model instead of their proper one, which is the kind of thing that quietly undermines the presentation for a game built around historical authenticity. The second fix addresses the M24 Chaffee showing up at the top of the Great War tank list for the USA when NSB is disabled. Neither change touches balance or mechanics, but credit where it's due: Paradox caught these quickly and shipped the fix within the update cycle rather than letting them sit.
