Hearts of Iron IV HOI IV | Open Beta Update (No (10th April 2026)

Hearts of Iron IV's Open Beta skips a week, with Game Designer Zwirbaum confirming no client update today and a return to the regular schedule next week.

This week's Hearts of Iron IV Open Beta update is a no-show. Game Designer Zwirbaum posted today confirming there will be no client change for the Open Beta this week, with the next scheduled update expected to land next week as normal.

The current beta client remains at Musketeer v1.17.5.2.9135 (050f), so if you're already on the beta branch, nothing changes on your end today. If you've been waiting to jump in and aren't sure how, the original Open Beta announcement covers the steps.

On the lighter side, Paradox did sneak in a teaser for a Snuggato Jumbo Plush, which, look, has nothing to do with patch balance but is apparently closing in fast. Full patch notes below, such as they are.
