Hearthstone 4.1.26 Patch Notes (1st April 2026)

Blizzard has dropped the Hearthstone 4.1.26 patch, and given today's date, it is exactly what you'd expect.

Blizzard has released the 4.1.26 patch notes for Hearthstone today, April 1st, and credit where it's due, they committed fully. This is an April Fools patch in the classic sense: no pretence, no half-measures, just Blizzard's card game team clearly having a good time at the office.

The headliners are hard to pick, but Boulderfist Ogre becoming a Colossal minion is the kind of unhinged energy that makes these patches worth reading. Mister Clocksworth's Rewind text has been extended from three repetitions to twelve, which changes nothing mechanically but is genuinely funny to look at. The new Under-Underground Arena mode, which requires you to retire a run at exactly 11 wins and then find a 10x10-pixel button somewhere on the menu screen, demands a 24-game win streak with no losses. The reward is a hero skin. The punishment for losing is losing everything and starting over. Honestly, that's not nothing.

The "Sorry" emote has also been temporarily restored, and Chromatus has been disabled following what the patch describes as a separation from the Green Head. No further comment on that one. Full patch notes below.

This completely normal and very real patch includes updates to Hearthstone, Arena, and more! Wink.
