Gray Zone Warfare Upcoming Patches, PvP Changes & (1st June 2026)

MADFINGER Games took to the stage at the Game Access Conference this weekend, and if you missed the live stream from their booth, there's a fair amount to catch up on. CEO and Creative Director Marek Rabas was joined by other members of the dev team, community guests, and developers from fellow Czech studios for a session covering what's next for Gray Zone Warfare.

The headline items are changes coming to Conflict Zones and Combat Outposts in PvP, which have been a friction point for a chunk of the player base since the mode launched. No granular patch numbers yet, but the framing suggests these are near-term adjustments rather than distant roadmap promises. More eye-catching are the first teasers for Update 0.5, the next major milestone for the game. I'm not going to oversell what we know right now because the details are thin, but MADFINGER is publicly previewing it suggests the update is close enough to show.
