A fairly meaty bug-fix drop landed in Gray Zone Warfare today. Patch 0.4.4.0 is live on the servers now, and if Steam hasn't picked it up automatically, a restart should sort it.

The two fixes players will feel most immediately are the Fort Narith vault exploit and the PVP zone bug. The operations room bypass has been closed off with proper door collision, which is overdue given how long that shortcut has been circulating. The PVP zone issue was more disruptive than it sounds: zones were shutting down permanently after their first expiration timer, meaning no new zones could spawn. That's a session-ruiner, and it's good to see it addressed. On the weapon side, magnifier alignment on AR-15-style rifles has been corrected, and the compatibility bypass that let mismatched magnifiers attach via the backpack slot is gone.

Animation work makes up a big chunk of this patch too, covering everything from prone transitions to NPC reload poses on the M1A and M700. None of it is flashy, but accumulated jank in animations erodes immersion fast in a game this grounded. The Street Spotter task fix is probably the one most players will thank MADFINGER for directly. The full breakdown is below, and the magnifier changes are worth reading carefully if you run optics.
