
Fragpunk Update Announcement: New Content for Season (20th May 2026)
Fragpunk's Season 5, Chapter 1 update hits on May 21, bringing a new stealth-focused Lancer, weapon tuning, and a fresh Battle Pass.
Season 5, Chapter 1 lands in Fragpunk on May 21 with a maintenance window starting at 10:00 AM UTC+8, estimated at around three hours. The full update details are live on the official site, and there's enough here to shift how a few matchups play out.
The headliner is Calamity, a new Lancer built around stealth kills and sustain. She converts damage dealt into a stored resource that fuels self-healing via Sympathy for the Devil, and her Angel of Death ability lets her briefly go invincible and pass through hazards at the cost of HP. She sounds like a nightmare to fight in a 1v1 if she's been banking damage all match. On the weapon side, the Bad Moon-S and Bad Reputation both take fire rate and damage multiplier cuts, so if either was your go-to, your TTK just got noticeably worse. The Ghost Pepper and Mad Dog-S get extended falloff ranges, which should make them more viable at mid-range.
Ranked also gets a small quality-of-life bump, with Daily Challenges now awarding Ranked Points based on tier, and the Weekenders' Worry-Free Ranking event expanding to cover the full Friday-to-Sunday window.

Lancer
Calamity
A killing machine manufactured by Kepler Corporation, Calamity excels at stealth assassinations and sustained combat. A ratio of all damage dealt by Calamity is converted into \ and stored, and at max, she gains a powerful buff. In the face of danger, Calamity can use \[Sympathy for the Devil], allowing her to consume stored \ to heal herself. She can also consume HP and use \[Angel of Death] to become briefly invincible and pass through hazardous areas. \[Barbed Wire Kisses] places a thorny thicket that slows the enemy's attack. Watch your back, and don't let her catch you alone!

- Shard Clash May 21 Shard Card update: 16 Shard Cards removed.
- Chaos Clash May 21 Shard Card update: 10 Shard Cards removed.
- Deathmatch: Added 10 Shard Cards and removed 10 Shard Cards.

Battle Pass
The Season 5, Chapter 1 Battle Pass, Desert Rogue, will officially launch on May 21. The Counterfeit Superb skin \[Desert Rogue] and the Corona Superb skin \[Blazing Order] are coming soon! 1. Ixchel
- Fight In a Cage
- The arena HP has been reduced from 1200 to 800. Its effect duration remains unchanged.
- Spear of Kukulkan's pull effect has been weakened.
- Spear of Kukulkan's pull effect will no longer cause enemies to be dragged vertically.
2. Axon
- Electric Guitar
- Electric Guitar's bullet spread range has been slightly reduced.
3. Sonar
- Sound of Silence
- Effect duration increased from 5 seconds to 6 seconds.
4. Serket
- Station to Station
- Extra HP gained after teleporting increased from 15 to 20. Duration increased from 2 seconds to 4 seconds.
5. Hurricane
- Branching Lightning
- The max blinding effect of the plasma ball has been increased.
- Movement speed bonus increased from 10% to 14%.
Weapon
1. Ghost Pepper
- The distance at which damage starts to fall off has been increased from 35m to 45m.
2. Mad Dog-S
- The initial distance at which damage starts to fall off has been increased from 20m to 25m, and the distance at which it falls off further has been increased from 35m to 40m.
3. Bad Moon-S
- Fire rate reduced from 500/min to 400/min.
- Torso damage multiplier reduced from 0.95 to 0.9.
4. Bad Reputation
- Fire rate reduced from 300/min to 260/min.
- Headshot damage multiplier reduced from 2.2 to 2. Torso damage multiplier reduced from 0.95 to 0.9.
5. Resolver
- The initial distance at which damage starts to fall off has been reduced from 20 m to 16 m.
Ranked Matches
1. Daily Challenges
- There are new Daily Challenges for Ranked Matches that grant Ranked Points based on the player's rank tier.
2. Weekenders' Worry-Free Ranking
- The Weekenders' Worry-Free Ranking Event has been adjusted to be available throughout Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Removed Shard Cards in Shard Clash:
- Yoink!: After picking up an enemy weapon, that weapon's uses +1.
- Prosthetic Eye: Throw one of your eyes out to be a camera, but lose part of your vision.
- Flustered: After the prep phase, players randomly switch between their weapons whenever they reload their primary weapons.
- Slow Bullets: The speed of both teams' bullets is significantly reduced.
- Leader of the Dead: Spend your own HP to generate a Bio-Warrior.
- Let Them Hear You: The louder, the faster!
- Kindred Spirits: Every player is assigned a random color. Players with the same color can only damage each other with melee attacks.
- Boxing Champion: Fists do more damage, and using them increases your movement speed.
- Split the Check: Select an ally and generate a chain that shares damage with them.
- OUCH!: Using your mic restores your HP.
- Mutual Exposure: Reveal the position of yourself and all enemies within 10 meters.
- Pumpkin Hideout: Place a pumpkin to hide in. Allies can hide in it too.
- Swift Vanguard: Increase the movement speed of controllable gadgets, skill summons, and mirages, and gain extra HP.
- Gadget Sacrifice: Damage to your controllable gadgets, skill summons, and mirages heal your whole team.
- Barrier Buster: Controllable gadgets, skill summons, and mirages damage enemy gadgets within a certain range of themselves.
- Skill Replacement: When controllable objects, skill summons, or mirages are destroyed, allies regain skill uses.

- Bulletproof Vest: Torso shots gain 20% damage reduction.
- Relativistic Bullets: \: Steal 10% of enemy movement speed.
- Close-Quarters Expert: Melee weapon damage +50%.
- Extended Reach: Melee range +50%.
- Community Healthcare: \[Join Forces]: Slowly regain HP.
- Gun Tune-Up: Inspecting weapons gradually increases their damage, up to a maximum of +50%.
- Quick Sniping: Reduces the firing interval of sniper rifles.
- Rapid Marksman Rifle: Reduce recoil and increase rate of fire of marksman weapons.
