Playground Games has rolled out Series 3 Hotfix 1 for Forza Horizon 6, addressing two frustrating bugs that have been interrupting drifting gameplay. The patch restores clutch kick functionality for Manual w/Clutch drivers, a core mechanic that was completely broken during drift attempts. That's a significant one if you've been relying on clutch control to chain drifts together.

The second fix targets Horizon Drifting Sessions themselves, which were terminating unexpectedly after launch. For players grinding through seasonal events or chasing high scores, abrupt session crashes kill momentum and waste time. Both issues hit the core loop hard, so this hotfix should restore some stability to the drifting experience. The update is live now across Steam (version 403.798), and the full breakdown of changes is below.
