EA SPORTS FC 26 v1.5.6 Patch Notes (12th May 2026)
A small but focused patch for EA SPORTS FC 26 targets control-loss bugs in both Ultimate Team Rush matches and Clubs Mode.
A short one today. v1.5.6 is live across PS5, PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch 2, and EA has kept the scope tight: two gameplay bug fixes and a stability patch.
The fixes that matter most are the control-loss bugs. One was hitting Ultimate Team Rush matches, the other Clubs Mode, and both could leave you watching your player or avatar stand there while your opponent capitalised. Losing input during a live match is one of those issues that goes from annoying to infuriating fast, so getting these addressed is a straightforward win. The third fix covers a vague "stability issue" with no further detail, which is exactly the kind of patch note I find frustrating, but at least the other two entries are specific about what broke and where.
This isn't a sweeping update, and it doesn't pretend to be. Small, targeted patches that fix real player-facing bugs are fine by me as long as they keep coming. The complete notes are below.
