FC 26 Hits Game Pass Just in Time for the World Cup
EA Sports FC 26 arrives on Game Pass tomorrow, perfectly timed with the 2026 World Cup in full swing. It leads a wave of seven new additions stretching into early July.

With the 2026 FIFA World Cup already in full swing, EA Sports FC 26 joins Xbox Game Pass tomorrow, June 18. Microsoft confirmed the addition at the official Xbox Wire post, alongside six other titles arriving between now and early July.
The timing here is about as calculated as it gets. FC 26 already landed on PlayStation Plus Essential back in May, and now Game Pass subscribers get their turn. EA is clearly trying to funnel as many players as possible into the game while World Cup fever is at its peak, and before attention inevitably shifts toward EA FC 27. It's a smart play, though I'd feel better about it if EA hadn't just launched an entire in-game advertising platform built into the same game. Getting millions of new eyeballs through Game Pass right as you're scaling up ad inventory inside your stadiums is a very specific kind of synergy.
FC 26 will be available on Cloud, Console, and PC for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers. EA is also bundling a Supercharge Pack available from June 18 to July 17, which includes recurring rewards like Football Ultimate Team Draft Tokens and seasonal Clubs rewards.
The rest of the wave is a mixed bag. Call of Duty: Vanguard arrived today across Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and PC Game Pass. Abyssus, a roguelite FPS, follows on June 25. RV There Yet? drops June 30, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 expands to Game Pass Premium on July 2 after already being on Ultimate, and Winds of Arcana: Ruination rounds things out on July 6. Meanwhile, eight titles leave the service on June 30, including Rise of the Tomb Raider, Slay the Spire, and Unpacking.
