Don't Starve Together Game Update - 740477 Patch Notes (6th July 2026)

Patch 740477 has landed with a pair of focused fixes that sort out lingering friction points for dedicated server players and cosmetic consistency.

The Tesla Coil Helm skin is now officially called the Arc Welded Helm, a straightforward rename that brings the cosmetic's display name in line with its actual identity. More importantly, Klei has patched a bug preventing Klei Account linked items from functioning on dedicated servers, which should restore access for players running community-hosted worlds.

It's a lean update, but the server-side fix matters if you've been locked out of your cosmetics on private instances. The icon correction for the Arc Welded Helm rounds out the housekeeping. Full patch notes, including both the rename and the dedicated server fix, are below.
