Don't Starve Together Hotfix 726706 Patch Notes (5th May 2026)
Klei has pushed a WX-78-focused hotfix, cleaning up Possessed Chassis bugs and expanding what the Auto-Grabber can actually do.
If you've been running a WX-78 build lately, today's update has your name on it. Hotfix 726706 dropped earlier today and it's almost entirely focused on the robot, patching up a long list of Possessed Chassis issues and tightening the Auto-Grabber's functionality.
The two changes I'd flag for most players: the Auto-Grabber can now deposit items directly into Expansive Storage Units activated by Spatializer Circuits, which removes a annoying gap in the automation loop. Expansive Storage Units also now inherit WX-78's Refrigerant and Thermal Circuit preserver rates, so your stored food actually benefits from the circuits you've invested in. On the bug side, the Electrification Circuit's electric arc hitting other players outside of PVP was a nasty one, and it's good to see that gone.
This is a focused, competent hotfix rather than a sweeping update, but the sheer number of Possessed Chassis fixes suggests Klei has been paying attention to bug reports since the last major patch. Here's everything that changed.
Full Patch Notes
