Don't Starve Together Hotfix 728321 Patch Notes (13th May 2026)

A small but focused hotfix for Don't Starve Together lands today, cleaning up a couple of issues that slipped through after recent updates.

Two fixes, no fluff. Hotfix 728321 for Don't Starve Together dropped early this morning, and Klei is keeping it brief: this one exists purely to address a couple of issues that surfaced after recent changes.

The more noticeable fix tackles projectiles getting stuck on physics objects and lingering longer than they should. In a game where timing and positioning matter, a projectile that refuses to disappear can throw off combat reads and cause some confusing deaths. The second fix handles server-side slash command processing, which is less flashy but matters for anyone running a dedicated server where admin commands weren't behaving correctly.

Neither fix is going to reshape how you play, but Klei moving quickly on these rather than bundling them into a larger patch later is exactly how hotfixes should work. Small problem, fast response. Full patch notes below.
