Dark and Darker Early Access Hotfix #119 Patch Notes (2nd July 2026)
Dungeon monsters are tougher but rewards are sweeter as Dark and Darker kicks off its final push before Season 10. The ping system gets a proper rework too.

The EAS9 End of Season event is live, and Ironmace has made dungeons both deadlier and more lucrative as the final stretch before Season 10 begins. Non-boss monsters now hit 15% harder and die 30% faster, but the loot compensation is substantial: artifact drop rates are doubled in High-Roller dungeons, quest items have a rare shot at Legendary rarity, and those small coffers scattered about can now yield high-grade hunting materials like Seal of Dominion and Spectral Fabric. Adventure Point gains are doubled across all dungeons to help players push toward Demigod rank before the season closes.
The real standout here is the ping system overhaul. Pings now display instantly, come colour-coded per party member, and include redesigned icons with 3D directional audio. A new Combat Radial and Social Radial system lets you broadcast specific needs without typing, and the "Need Ammo" message now automatically adapts to your equipped ranged weapon. It's a substantial quality-of-life push for team coordination.
Arena gets its own flavour too: the off-season Flex and Solo/Duo modes run July 10-14 with Artifact-rarity gear allowed and loot retention on loss. Hotfix #119 also patches Bard effects, Crystal Ball movement locks, and the Gambler's Token is now Soulbound to prevent accidental loss.
Full Patch Notes
▲ Buff▼ Nerf✓ Fix◆ TweakHi Adventurers,
This update marks the start of the EAS9 End of Season Events.
During the final stretch before the start of EAS10, the dungeons have become a more dangerous place with better rewards to match. Non-boss monsters are more aggressive.
In return, dungeon drop rates have been increased across the board. Artifact drop rates have been doubled in High-Roller dungeons, and the chance to obtain better loot and higher-rarity items has increased in all dungeons. Accessory drop rates from the sub-bosses have also increased, and quest item drop rates have been boosted. This includes a small temporary chance to gain Legendary-grade quest items from PvE dungeons during this period. Additionally, the small coffers chests in all dungeons have a small chance to yield the super valuable hunting loots during this event.
To help boost Adventure Rank progress in the final push towards ‘Demigod’ rank, we’ve doubled the Adventure Point multiplier for all dungeons.
The End of Season festivities also include the 'Artifact Arenas’ which will be available from July 10 through July 14.
Finally, we’ve also made big improvements to the in-game ping system for better team coordination. This also includes new communications wheels for both social and combat messages.
We hope you enjoy these changes while we prepare for the next Early Access Season. Be on the lookout for new EAS10 information dropping soon. In the meantime, see you in the dungeons!
