Crusader Kings III 1.19.0.4 Patch Notes (23rd April 2026)
A small but useful hotfix lands for CK3, fixing the out-of-sync multiplayer errors and over-eager Lunatic events that slipped through the 1.19 Scribe update.
Three days after the 1.19 Scribe update launched, Paradox has pushed 1.19.0.4 to clean up a handful of issues that made it through Monday's release.
The two fixes that will actually affect your sessions: out-of-sync errors in cross-platform multiplayer are resolved, and trait-related events like Lunatic and Depressed were firing far too often. That second one matters more than it sounds, if your ruler kept getting hammered by mental health events every few in-game months, this should bring those back to their intended frequency and stop your carefully managed character from spiralling into chaos at an unreasonable rate.
The rest of the changelog is cosmetic and UI housekeeping. High Medieval Attire clothing had display issues with the color picker, the Court Visuals panel can no longer be dragged out of position, and there are minor French localization fixes. Small stuff, but the multiplayer desync fix alone makes this a patch worth grabbing before your next co-op session. Here's the full breakdown.

Hello everyone! We're pushing a small hotfix update today to tackle some outstanding issues with the 1.19 "Scribe" Update that was released on Monday. Check the changelog below for more information.
Update 1.19.0.4 Changelog
- Fixed an issue causing out-of-sync errors in cross-platform multiplayer.
- Fixed an issue causing certain trait-related events (such as Lunatic and Depressed) to fire too frequently.
- Resolved an issue with some High Medieval Attire clothing not displaying correctly when using the color picker.
- Fixed a typo in the Sword of Japan Steam achievement description.
- Fixed an issue where UI elements could go out of bands in the Story Cycle panel.
- The Court Visuals UI panel is now fixed in place and can no longer be moved.
- Minor French localization fixes.
