Counter-Strike 2 Update Patch Notes (15th July 2026)
Four community workshop maps get refreshed, and Valve plugs some stability holes in the latest Counter-Strike 2 update.

Valve's pushed out a fresh Counter-Strike 2 update today with a focus on map refinement. Four community workshop maps, Fachwerk, Boulder, Shelter, and El Dorado, have all been synced to their latest versions, meaning players will see whatever tweaks the workshop creators have been iterating on.
These aren't wholesale redesigns, but incremental polish matters in a game where pixel-perfect positioning and consistent map knowledge drive competitive play. If you've got muscle memory built into any of these four, expect minor adjustments to angles, sightlines, or economy timings.
Beyond the map work, Valve's also bundled in various stability and security fixes. The kind of housekeeping that doesn't make headlines but keeps the client running smoothly and the servers secure. Nothing revolutionary here, but that's often the point with these smaller updates. The map refreshes to Fachwerk, Boulder, Shelter, and El Dorado are the headline changes.
