Core Keeper 1.2.1.4 - Stability Patch Notes (27th May 2026)

A small but targeted stability patch for Core Keeper lands today, fixing beds that were immediately booting players and a long-standing issue with enemies destroying tiles they shouldn't be able to touch.

That bed bug fix has been a long time coming. Core Keeper's 1.2.1.4 stability patch is a small drop today, but it targets some annoying issues that will be familiar to regular players.

The most immediately noticeable fix is for beds kicking players out after a single frame, which made sleep mechanics effectively unusable. Console players also get a specific crash fix tied to interacting with the S.A.H.A.B.A.R summoning console on PlayStation, Switch, and Xbox. On top of that, the patch closes an exploit that let players craft items from boss statues before those statues were properly unlocked, which is the sort of sequence-breaking loophole that tends to quietly undermine progression design. The unbreakable tile fix also gets a "for real this time" note in the patch itself, which I respect for its honesty.

Not a headline update by any stretch, but stability patches that actually fix what they say they fix deserve a straightforward mention. Here's the full breakdown.

1.2.1.4 - Stability Patch

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue that caused Beds to kick players out after one frame.
  • Fixed an issue where it was possible to hold to craft items from boss statues before they were unlocked.
  • Enemies that destroy tiles when they spawn can no longer destroy unbreakable tiles. For real this time!
  • [PlayStation, Switch, Xbox] Fixed a crash caused by interacting with the S.A.H.A.B.A.R summoning console.
