Season 04 Reloaded hits today with a Nick Cage operator and a redesigned Champion's Quest that turns the entire lobby into a competitive event. The big changes aren't cosmetic though, Raven Software is reshaping how the endgame plays out.

Supply boxes deep in the gas are now off-limits, which kills one of Warzone's most annoying exploits where players could farm loot while staying outside the playable area. The gas grace distance now scales each circle, demanding more urgency as the match tightens. Combined with hotzone loot improvements, Gas Masks and more Legendary crates in high-risk areas, the patch pushes squads toward actual combat instead of edge-of-map stalling. These aren't flashy changes, but they're exactly the kind of friction removal that makes matches feel less frustrating.

Champion's Quest is the real headline here. The old version was a squad-only gauntlet; the new one is a server-wide event where any squad can contest your progress and steal your items for their own tokens. It's a smart pivot that gives the entire lobby a reason to care about what's happening across the map.
