Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Call of Duty: Warzone Notes (4th June 2026)
Warzone Season 04 is live with a refreshed Fortune's Keep, a new PC attestation requirement that restricts cheaters to limited playlists, and a Placement Challenges system that rewards consistent finishes.

Season 04 is the biggest Warzone update in a while. Fortune's Keep is back with a refreshed layout, three new micro-POIs, and enough structural changes that returning players will want to relearn rotations rather than assume muscle memory carries over. The new Sea Science Aquatic Laboratory at Bay alone adds a whole vertical layer to a POI that previously funnelled everyone through the same two choke points.
The anti-cheat changes are the headline move, though. Raven has enabled Microsoft Azure Attestation across PC, meaning players who fail TPM 2.0 or Secure Boot checks get shunted into a restricted matchmaking pool with access only to Nuketown 24/7 and Battle Royale Casual. It's a hard stance, and I think it's the right one. Cheaters getting corralled away from the main population rather than just banned and back in 20 minutes is a smarter long-term play, and locking them out of Ranked entirely is exactly what that mode needed.
The full Season 04 patch notes also cover the new Placement Challenges system, which rewards top finishes with unlockable cosmetics across Battle Royale, Resurgence, and Black Ops Royale. Pay close attention to the camo challenge fixes for snipers and LMGs, which were incorrectly assigned "kills while moving" requirements.
