Brighter Shores Patch notes (12th April 2026)
A small but focused patch for Brighter Shores lands today, fixing a camera lock bug and tidying up some visual obstruction issues.
Small patch today for Brighter Shores, but the fixes are ones players will actually feel. According to the official Steam patch notes, the update addresses a camera bug that could leave your view locked in a vertical position, which in a game built around exploration and combat is the sort of thing that goes from annoying to unplayable fast.
Also corrected is a bug where walls and trees had stopped being removed when your avatar walked behind them. That transparency system exists for a reason, and losing it means navigating cluttered environments while half-blind. Good to see it restored. On the quality of life side, rabbits in Central Junction and Thimble Lane have been made easier to catch, which anyone who has spent an embarrassing amount of time chasing them around will appreciate.
It's a light update, no question, but the camera fix alone makes it a worthwhile one. Here's the full breakdown.
